You don't find this very often in Bucks County: as far as your eye can see, you are looking at your own 135-acre property bordered the entire length by Tohickon Creek. Beautiful farmland brings you back to the days of Thomas Jefferson, when America gloried in its rural heritage.

This home was originally built 21 years before the American Revolution on a farm which has remained profitable in agriculture up until this day. This farm is operated in a completely conservative farming manner and has been since it was developed in 1755.

There's something special about the stone house too; the oldest portion is pristine in its original condition. This is a purist's delight! The home still retains its five original heating and cooking fireplaces (three are walk-in); the first bake oven remains in very nice original condition.

There are three rooms on the first floor in the old wing and two rooms upstairs. You can look down from the old bedroom into the c.1810 keeping room below. The old wing of the stone house is one of the best examples of a Revolutionary-era home that is still essentially in the same condition it was when it was built.

The new portion of the house was built in 1975 of stone over framing; you cannot tell the difference from the outside. A second stone cottage serves as a tenant house, currently rented for $1400/month, and a stone 2-car garage has a studio upstairs.

A 70x40 bank barn and a smaller second barn complete the farm.  As it was the practice in Bucks County agriculture years ago a pond was built on the farm for the storage of water and is about 2/3 acre in size and remains in very good condition. Property has been put into preservation.
